Pastor Marlon Reid

Pastor Marlon W.A. Reid, an ordained minister in the Seventh-Day Adventist church, is a graduate of Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) in Huntsville, Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Ministerial Theology. He is also a graduate of Andrews University (SDA Theological Seminary) in Berrien Springs, Michigan where he earned a Master of Divinity Degree.

Throughout his seven year ministerial journey, Pastor Reid, has had the opportunity to conduct an evangelistic meeting in Nairobi, Kenya and has had the privilege of pastoring seven churches in the territory of the Lake Region Conference. He has also been the commencement speaker at numerous graduations, featured speaker for numerous “Week of Prayer” events and various retreats.

Pastor Reid is married to the former Valerie N. Wells, who is a graduate of Chicago State University and associate treasurer of the Lake Region Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. As a result of their union, God has blessed them with three sons, Luke, Landon and Logan.

Pastor Reid’s desire is to live a life totally surrendered to Jesus Christ and to be an instrument leading others to salvation in Jesus Christ.
