Pastor Julius R. Everett Sr.

is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He attended Indiana University studying Policy and Administration, and during his senior year accepted the call to the gospel ministry. He transferred to Andrews University where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Religion and Business Administration in 1986. He later completed his Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University Theological Seminary in 1989. He is currently studying for his Doctoral degree in Christian Counseling at Andrews University Theological Seminary.

Pastor Everett is married to Dr. Regina L. Spears-Everett for the last 26 years.  They have been blessed between them with six wonderful children: Julius, Freddie, Josiah, Lindsey, Eve, and Layla.

Pastor Everett has a deep love for family and the Word of God.  He has a tremendous burden for the pastorate and for all churches to be unified and work together for the hastening of Christ’s soon return.

He has been privileged to serve 32 years in the ministry in the Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.  He has served in Detroit, Benton Harbor, and South Bend, Indiana.  He has served as the Michiana Area Leader of Pastors.

Pastor Everett lives by the promise of hope of Colossians 1:25-29 which says, “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: where unto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.”

Pastor Everett asks for prayers of God’s people as he begins his journey in this portion of God’s vineyard.
